The youth are being sidetracked by carrying on illegal businesses arbitrarily. (Exclusive article provided by Janam Sakshi reporter regarding illegal gutka and ganja businesses.) The details are as follows.
Gutka pan masala and ganja business, banned by the government, continues freely in Jagadevpur mandal. It is well known that the government has banned gutka pan masala and ganja on the grounds that young people who are addicted to it are getting sick. However, taking advantage of people’s weaknesses and addictions, some illegal traders are continuing these illegal businesses in Jagadevpur mandal. In this order, the youth who are addicted to gutka pan masala and ganja are addicted to them and are constantly intoxicated, spoiling their health and causing immense suffering to their parents. The youth are so addicted to Gutka ganja that sometimes they pay double the price to buy it when it is not available properly. In this background, it is no exaggeration that the officials who are supposed to prevent the illegal gutka ganja business are looking at the antics. Many suspicions are being expressed as the actions of the authorities against the illegal businesses are brutal. Due to this, there are many allegations that the illegal traders continue their business freely and earn illegal income on the one hand and on the other hand they are messing with the lives of the youth. In this regard, the concerned authorities have yet to respond and people are demanding that strict action be taken against those who are continuing illegal gutka ganja businesses.
